Falafel is one of those rare foods like french fries and pizza that pretty much everybody loves in fact when i meet someone that doesn’t like falafel i have to admit I’m a little suspicious I mean what’s not to like about this crispy deep-fried chickpea fritter and I think you’re gonna be surprised how easy it is so let’s go ahead and get started

Easy falafel recipe with oriental potatoes, salad, guacamole, and Ayvar!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 250 g chickpeas
  • 2 bunch of parsley
  • 1 bunch of cilantro
  • 1/2 pack of baking soda
  • 1 bunch of basil
  • 1 onion
  • 4-6 tablespoons of flour
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • SPICES: cumin, curry, Raz el Hanout, pinch of cinnamon

DIRECTIONS:

  1. 250g chickpeas soak in water overnight. The next day with 2 bunch of parsley, 1 bunch of cilantro and 1 bunch of basil, 1 onion (finely chopped), 2 cloves garlic, spices (cumin, curry, Raz el Hanout, a pinch of cinnamon) mix and wolf in a meat grinder.
  2. Then add 1/2 pack of baking soda and 4-6 tablespoons of flour (depending on how juicy the dough is). Can’t be too firm the whole thing.
  3. Then heat oil in a pot and shape cams and bake falafel in hot oil.

Yields approx. 20-25 pieces depending on size 😊👌
